In this guide, we will take a look at the product requirements for Zalando.
Some requirements can be considered general and some are category-specific, selling shoes, for example entails specifying information about, sole, insole, lining, etc, read more here.
General requirements
Some of the basic requirements can be considered obvious and we won't be going into detail about them here, examples of basic requirements are:
- Categories
- Prices
- Descriptions
- Titles
- Images
- SKU
In addition to the most basic information, Zalando requires you to set a series of general attributes, these are mandatory regardless of category and can be broken down into three sections.
1. General model information:
- Age group
- Brand
- Size
2. General style information
- Gender
- Color
- Season
3. General article information
- EAN
Additional requirements such as images, currency, price, and SKU are not included here as they are already covered by the basic information that can be filled out on products in Sello.
Specific requirements
Each Silhouette (category) on Zalando has its own associated attributes, some are required and some are optional.
