In this guide, we will show you how to create a test order for a specific marketplace.
Creating mock orders in Sello is a great way to ensure orders are sent to your webshop, ERP, WMS, or other external systems correctly, and that they are created according to your specifications.
This feature is also useful in carrying out tests together with sales channels that require this as part of their onboarding process
Disclaimer
Keep in mind that creating orders with the status Paid will initiate an automated export to any and all external platforms connected to your Sello account - If you do not wish for the order to be sent to your external system, use the status "Awaiting payment" instead.
Here's how:
- Log into Sello
- Navigate to: Orders
- Click: Actions
- Choose Create order
- Fill in the Buyer information
- Fill in the Contact information
- Choose order status under Details (default is Paid)
