In this guide, we will show you how to connect Shopify to Sello.
In order to be able to connect Shopify to Sello, you need to create an app in
Shopify, this will net you an API token, which then needs to be inputted in Sello.
The first step is to create the app in Shopify.
Here's how:
- Go to the Shopify Developer Dashboard and log in.
- Click the Create app button.
- Enter "Sello" as the App name and click Create.

In the Access section, click Select scopes and paste the following list:
read_assigned_fulfillment_orders, write_assigned_fulfillment_orders, read_price_rules, write_price_rules, read_discounts, write_discounts, write_draft_orders, read_draft_orders, read_fulfillments, write_fulfillments, write_inventory, read_inventory, read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, write_order_edits, read_order_edits, read_orders, write_orders, read_product_listings, write_product_listings, read_products, read_locations, write_products, read_shipping, read_locales, write_shipping - Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Release.
- A modal window will appear; click Release again to confirm.
- In the left-hand menu of your newly created app, click Home.
- Under the Installs section, click Install app.
- Click on your app, then select Settings in the left-hand menu.
The last step is to input the credentials generated in Sello.
Here's how:
- Open a new tab, log in to Sello and navigate to: Sello → Settings → Connectors → Shopify Connect, then click Connect.
- Enter your webshop URL, copy the Client ID and Client Secret from Shopify and paste them into Sello.
- You are now connected! Your Shopify data will begin syncing with Sello.
