In this guide, we will show you how to connect to Visma eAccounting.
Before we begin, you'll need to take care of a couple of things, first of all, you need an account using the Visma eAccounting software.
The first step in the integration process is to purchase and activate the "Visma Integration" -plugin.
Here's how:
- Log into Visma: https://connect.visma.com
- Go to: Apps and extensions
- Find and click: Visma Integration
- In the top-right, click: Activate
Done!
The next step is to set-up your number series, also called your "Next Document Number". This setting tells Visma which number you'd like your quotes, orders, and sales invoices to start at.
By default, these will be set to 0, which makes synchronizing an order via API impossible since 0 is a forbidden value.
So to enable the order sync, you'll need to input the desired value in the fields found here.
Here's how:
- Log into Visma: https://connect.visma.com
- Go to: Settings -> Company settings
- Click: Invoice settings
- Find the Number series -section
- Input your desired values
- Click: Save
Done!
The next step is to connect your Visma account to Sello.
Here's how:
- Log into Sello
- Go to: Settings -> Extras and find Visma eAccounting
- Click: Connect Now!
- Click: Create connection
You will now be taken to Visma where you will be asked to sign in.
When the login is complete you'll need to grant Sello access to your account, do so by making sure all boxes are checked and then clicking Yes, Allow.
You will be taken back to Sello and the connection is now established.
Done!
Good to know:
- Before being able to send orders to Visma, you'll need to take a look at the Visma settings in Sello. You'll find them by going to: Settings -> Extras -> Visma eAccounting -> Settings.
