Connecting to Prestashop

In this guide, we will show you how to connect your Sello account to Prestashop.

The first step is to enable Prestashop's webservice and to create an API key.

Here's how:

  1. Log into Prestashop admin.
  2. Go to: Advanced Parameters -> Webservice
  3. Click Yes next to: Enable PrestaShop’s webservice
  4. Click: Save
  5. Click: Add new webservice key
  6. Create a key using the Generate -button.
  7. Give the key all permissions.
  8. Click: Save

Next, you need to input this key in Sello.

Here's how:

  1. Log into Sello.
  2. Go to: Settings -> Webshops and find Prestashop
  3. Click: Connect Now!
  4. Input your shop’s URL and your API key.
  5. Click: Create Connection

Done!

Good to know:

  • Once you have created categories in Prestashop, they will be automatically imported to Sello along with vat / tax rules and language settings.
  • If you have already existing products in Prestashop you can import them using our Prestashop import tool, this will create them in the inventory -section in Sello. Read more here.
