Connecting to Elkjøp Nordic – Sello

In this guide, we will show you how to connect your Sello account to Elkjøp Nordic.

This is also how you would activate a temporary connection to Elkjøp Nordic created in the Sello account registration process, the only difference is instead of clicking "Connect Now!", you click: "Settings" and then enable the connection using the toggle in the top right corner.

Elkjøp Nordic consists of four marketplaces in four countries:

Elgiganten (Sweden)
Elgiganten (Denmark)
Giganti (Finland)
Elkjøp (Norway)

As an approved merchant you'll gain access to all of them, all you need to do is to create a merchant account and get approved as a seller.

To do that you need to apply, this is done via email, and you'll find contact details here.

When you have been approved as a seller. and your account is taken care of, it's time to connect the account to Sello. In order to do this, you'll need both an API key and a shop ID.

Here's how to generate an API key:

Log into Elkjøp: https://partner.elkjopnordic.com/login
Go to: “My User Settings”.
Click: “API Key”.
Click: “Generate a new key”.
Click: "Copy to clipboard".

Here's how to find your shop ID:

Log into Elkjøp: https://partner.elkjopnordic.com/login
Go to: "My Account" -> "Settings".
Copy the number next to: "ID".

Each Elkjøp country has its own shop ID, so if you want to connect to another country, you will need to find its unique ID. The API key will be the same for all countries, however.

The unique ID is found by switching countries in the top-right corner and repeating the steps above.

After finding your API key and shop ID, you need to create the connection in Sello.

Here's how:

Log into Sello.
Go to: "Settings" -> "Channels" and find "Elkjøp".
Click: "Connect Now!" and choose your desired country.
Enter your "API token" and "Shop ID".
Click: "+ Create Connection".

Done!

You are going to have to repeat this for all the countries you want to connect to.
