In this guide, we will talk about the section in the "Edit" -window called “Details”.
In this section, you can add product details, which is all additional information about your product. There is a large number of properties you can add here, too many to cover in this guide.
Below you will find some of the properties we recommend you make use of on all products.
- Brand
- Manufacturer
- Barcode number (EAN, GTIN, UPC, ISBN)
- Material
- Color
- Size
Some marketplaces require that certain properties are added and filled out on your product, depending on category chosen. Required properties will have a red asterisk next to its name, and not filling these out will result in a failure to synchronize the product to the marketplace.
Sello will try to help you with indicating what properties are required for each marketplace. When you select a category for your products we will communicate with the marketplaces and see what properties they might require for that specific category.
If you need to add a specific property, you can search for it on the top right by clicking “+Add”.
Technically, making sure all required properties are present and filled out is enough for Sello to be able to put the product up for sale on the selected marketplace, but if you want your products to be searchable, you have to make use of more than just the basic, required properties.
If you don’t use properties it may result in your products not being visible until actively searched for.
