If you cannot find certain products in Sello, you might need to change how you search for it, either by trying different information, by using filters, or by widening the search to also include products placed in the trash bin.
The trash bin is a special folder installed on Sello accounts using an external product source, such as a product feed or a Shopify webshop.
How to show all items in the trash bin
Items that have been removed will automatically be moved to the trash bin in Sello. Should you wish to show all items contained therein, all you need to do is:
- Go to: Inventory
- Click: Actions -> Show trashbin
This will give you an overview of all trashed items, you can paginate at the bottom. You can also search for items provided you tick the Also search trash -box under Advanced in the Search menu (found by clicking: Search all in the search box)
If you are searching for a product but getting no results, chances are your product has been trashed for one reason or another.
You can expand the search range to also include trashed items. Here's how:
- Go to: Inventory
- Click: Search all in the Search box and tick the Also search trash -box under Advanced
How to restore deleted items
If you need to restore a deleted item, you need to move it out of the trash bin.
Here's how:
- Select the product
- Click: Actions -> Move
- Select your desired folder
How and why products are automatically moved to the trash bin
If an item is removed or in any way made unavailable for Sello to access at the source, it will also be removed in Sello and placed in the trash bin.
When an item is removed in Sello, the stock quantity will be set to 0 and the item will be taken down from all sales channels it was active on.
Should you feel a product was erroneously moved to the trash bin, please provide us with proof that the item is in fact still available in your source and contact support@sello.io
Sufficient proof would be:
- A screenshot of the item in your product feed along with approriate IDs
- A link to the item in your webshop
- System specific article numbers such as product or variant ID
