In this guide we will show you how to export orders and use this function to see your refunds.
Exporting orders
To export your orders, follow the below steps:
- Click on the menu in the top left while logged into Sello
- Click on Export orders
- Select your timespan and columns to export. Keep in mind that the columns from each section will get their own page in the export!
- Click on Export orders
- Done! You will receive a download with orders created during your chosen timespan, and the columns you chose.
Keep in mind that the orders in the export will be all orders created in your chosen time span, this means the export does not take into consideration what orders were delivered, refunded or canceled during this time.
Exporting orders from a saved filter
You can create and save unique filters on the Order page, and these saved filters can then be used in the order export! This means that the orders in the export will be based on the filter, rather than what date they were created. You can read more about how to create and save a filter here.
Follow the below steps to export your orders with a saved filter:
- Select a filter to use in the export, instead of a date
- Select the columns you wish to be included in the export
- Click on Export Orders
- Done! You will receive a download with orders created using your filter, and the columns you chose.
Export refunded orders
There are two ways to export refunded or canceled or orders:
- Export based on the date the order was created.
- Export based on date the order was refunded or canceled.
Here is how to export orders based on creation date
If you export the orders based on the date they were created, this means that an export from 01-07-2024 to 15-07-2024 will not contain any refunds or cancellations that were made during these dates.
If the order was refunded or canceled during those dates, but created before 01-07-2024, it will not be included in the export.
To export the orders, follow the below steps:
- Select the timespan you wish to export orders from
- Select the column for Row: quantity returned from the Row fields section
- Select the other columns you wish to be included in the export
- Click on Export orders
- Done! Keep in mind that this export will contain orders that have not been refunded or canceled as well, you will need to look at the quantity returned column to see which orders contain refunds or cancellations.
Here is how to export orders based on refund or cancellation date
If you export the orders based on the date they were refunded or canceled this means that an export from 01-07-2024 to 15-07-2024 will only contain refunds and cancellations that were made during these dates.
If the order was created during those dates, but refunded after 15-07-2024, it will not be included in the export.
To export the orders, follow the below steps:
- Select the saved filter you wish to export orders from, you need to select a filter that specifies the Row status change date with an expression. You can read more about saving filters and expressions here
- Select the columns you wish to be included in the export
- Click on Export orders
- Done! Keep in mind that the export will contain all order rows in the included orders, not just the refunded or canceled rows. This means you may need to remove all non-refunded order rows manually
