In this guide, we have compiled some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Fruugo.
If you have not yet connected Fruugo to your Sello account, you can get started here.
Finding your feed
The first step to getting started with Fruugo is to send your Fruugo onboarding manager your feed. The feed is where all of your active products will be visible, and it is what Fruugo will check when publishing your products.
You can find the feed by going to your Fruugo settings in Sello, all of your marketplace settings can be found here here.
Activating products on Fruugo
One of the first steps to publishing new products is to activate them for the marketplace. This works the same way on all marketplaces, you can find our activation guide here
Auto-confirmation of orders
Sello will by default always automatically confirm your new Fruugo orders, but if you instead wish to confirm them manually you can turn on the setting Don't confirm order in your Fruugo settings below.
Currency and VAT-Rate
You can change the currency and VAT-rate that is used in the feed by going to your Fruugo settings, you can find them by going to:
Settings -> Channels -> Fruugo -> Settings
It can take up to 24 hours before these changes are visible in the feed.
Language
During your Fruugo onboarding, your onboarding manager will decide on which language should be sent for all products. Fruugo translates all descriptions to the other languages, which means you only need to add one description in Sello.
The default language in the feed is english, but you can change this to a different language below, keep in mind that this means you will need to add the description in the field for the new language instead of english.
My data is not visible on Fruugo
If you are not able to find your data when you search for it on Fruugo, the first step is to check if it is in your Fruugo feed. If you are having trouble finding your feed, see the header Finding your feed.
When you have opened the feed, You can search for a specific article number by pressing Control + F if you are using Windows, or Command + F if you are using a Mac
I can't find my product in the feed
If you can not find the product in the feed, make sure it is active for Fruugo and has no error messages in Sello.
Is the product active with no error messages? If that is the case, you can create a ticket to our support here.
I can't open my feed
If you have a very large number of products active towards Fruugo, the feed can become very large. This makes it more difficult to open, as it requires more system resources.
As an alternative, if the feed is too large to open directly, you can download it using a tool like curl, which is run from the terminal on your computer. By fetching the feed via the terminal and saving it as a local file, you can then open and review it on your own device, which is often more reliable when working with large files.
