In this guide we will list common questions and answers regarding closing your Sello account, what to do with your products, information regarding billing and more.
Products
When its time to cancel your Sello account you'll have a few options on how you wish to proceed with your products still being live on the marketplace/webshop.
When the Sello account gets closed it does not mean that your products automatically will be taken down from any marketplace/webshop.
Please notice that once your Sello account is closed any orders and products won't be fetched and/or synced to marketplace/webshop. You must make an active choice whether you want the products to be live or not. See options below and how to take action.
-
Keep the products on the marketplace/webshop
If you want to continue selling your products on a marketplace/webshop but without Sello fetching the orders and syncing product data then just contact Sello's support team and we'll help you to deactivate the connection.
-
Take down products from the marketplace/webshop
If you want the products to be taken down, the products need to be deactivated before the actual connection to the marketplace/webshop is removed.

Debiting & Invoicing
- Sello bills you retroactively, meaning we will send you an invoice for the January sales in February, and so on. This means that if you received orders after your current invoice had already been finalized and sent, and then asked to have your account closed, an invoice would be sent the next month.
- It is worth noticing that we will charge you the full fixed monthly cost, even if you choose to close your account in the beginning of a month.
Meaning, if you choose to close your Sello account on January 5th, you will still be charged for a full month.
- With the above information in mind, we can arrange for your account to be closed on a certain date automatically. Then you can use your account for the entire month.
