Do not remove your products from Sello after importing!
Read more below.
In this guide, we will show you how to import your products from Tradera, which will create them in the inventory -section in Sello.
This feature is a good way for already established Tradera merchants to get started using Sello to manage their Tradera sales.
As soon as you have created your Sello account, you can import your Tradera products.
Here's how:
- Log into Sello.
- In the top-left menu, find "Import / export".
- Find "Tradera" in the Import -section.
- Click: "Import".
- Select account (if you have multiple).
- Choose what to import.
- Click: "Import products".
Done!
Warning:
Do NOT remove your products from Sello after importing them from Tradera.
We have seen a rise in merchants deleting their products from Sello and then attempting to re-import these from Tradera. This seems to be viewed as a sort of "quick-fix", as opposed to using Sello to repair the products.
This WILL NOT work.
When we import your products from Tradera, we map the Tradera item ID:s to the Sello ID:s, this is done to let Sello know which product corresponds to which.
If a product is removed from Sello, the mapping will remain, meaning that if you try and import it again, the system will think that the product already exists in Sello and skip it.
If you find yourself in this predicament, send us an email and we will attempt to restore your products.
