Be careful when sharing your API key!
In this guide, we will take a look at creating an API key in Sello.
The Sello API key is used to bridge a connection between a third-party service and your Sello account.
Granting access to your Sello account through the API is not something to be taken lightly, through the API you can control every aspect of your Sello account, which includes creating, editing, or deleting products, fetching, editing, and managing orders, among other things.
To create an API key in Sello, you'll need to head to the Developers -section in the settings.
Here's how:
- Log into Sello
- Go to: Settings -> Developers -> API
- Click: Create new
- Give your key a name
- Read our TOS, PP, and the warning found here
- Check the boxes to accept
- Click: Create
Done!
