On Fyndiq's new marketplace platform you have the possibility to add more attribute values / property values for your products. This will increase your exposure and give your customers more ways to filter and find your products on the new marketplace platform.
It is highly recommended to add attributes to your products, increase your exposure, create a more attractive shopping experience on Fyndiq and increase the sales!
The following attributes with fixed values lists is accepted by Fyndiq v3:
In the bottom of this help page you will find an attached Excel file with all the different attribute and the possible values.
The most efficient way to add attributes / properties to products in Sello is to use the Excel import feature and update your products or using the product bulk-edit feature.
To bulk-edit these values works well if you need to set the same attribute values for all products, select your products you want to enrichen and choose (Actions -> Edit) and choose the Details tab, click to Add and search for the attribute you want to amend your products with. Do not forget to save!

To update your products with new attributes / properties with Excel is probably the most universal approach when needing to add multiple different attribute / property values to your products. Our recommendation is to first create an Excel list / document containing all the products you wish to update, use Sello's Excel export feature and export all your products to an Excel document.
When you import and update your products in Sello you can choose if you want match according Sku (product reference) or on Id (Sellos article number). In the following guide we will be matching our Excel on my own product reference (Sku).
First off is to export the products from Sello, to make the products a bit more identifiable in the Excel document we are going to add some fields / product information to the export that will help us when setting our attribute / property values:
- Namn in English
- Private name
- Private reference (Sku)
- Fyndiq category
You can select the different fields / product information you think you might need to help you set your attribute / property values, sometimes you might need to know what color the product has, what category it has on another marketplace or different product attributes / properties.

When you have your Excel document with the products you'd like to update and add attributes / properties for you can start editing the document. You need to add new columns in the document for the attributes / properties that you like to enrichen your products with. Let's say that you would like to update your products with two different attributes / properties (FyndiqSkinType and Color), then you need to create two new columns in your Excel document:
- Property FyndiqSkinType
- Property Color
Then start adding the attribute values for every product you think it is implementable for, you can find the different accepted attributes / properties values in the "fyndiq_properties_and_values.xlsx" file that is attached further down in this guide (See further down).
When you are finished adding all your attribute / property values to your Excel document you can start cleaning it up before importing it. We recommend removing all unnecessary and irrelevant columns that you used to identify your products when mapping the attribute / property values to the document, in this case it was (Fyndiq3 category, Standard name en, Private name). If you do now remove these fields you will update your products in Sello with this data and it is totally unnecessary because we are only interested in adding our attributes / properties and their values to the products (Property FyndiqSkinType, Property Color).
After you have cleaned your file it would look something like this (See image), you will have your Sku column for matching what product you with to add the two new attribute / property values for Property FyndiqSkinType and Property Color.
It is now time to import your Excel file / document (xlsx) that you have saved on your computer, it will update your products in Sello and add the different attributes / properties. Use the Sello import feature for Excel, upload your xlsx file and choose to "Update products with my file", then click Start.
