How to work with shipping for Tradera

In this guide, we will show you how to set and edit shipping costs and methods for Tradera.

Tradera requires that at least one shipping method and a shipping cost be set on each product, but if you want you can set two, one primary and one secondary.

The following shipping methods can be used on Tradera:

  • PostNord
  • DHL
  • Schenker
  • Bussgods
  • Other
  • Pickup

There are a few ways you can go about setting this on your products, you can either set this manually in the inventory in Sello or by uploading a file with the help of one of our import features.

Via the Sello inventory

Setting up the shipping in the Sello inventory entails manually inputting a shipping cost and selecting at least one shipping method in our interface.

Here's how:

  1. Log into Sello.
  2. Go to: "Inventory".
  3. Find your product.
  4. Click: "Edit".
  5. Go to the "Shipping" -tab.
  6. Select a shipping method.
  7. Input a shipping cost.
  8. Click: "Save".

You'll also have the possibility of adding a secondary shipping option here as well as offer pickup by checking the box at the bottom of the section.

You can also set shipping on multiple products at the same time using either the quick or the bulk edit -features. Read more on our various inventory tools and the different tabs you'll find in the "Edit" -window, here.

Via Excel import

You can also create or update products using our Excel import feature. This tool enables you to update a large number of products at a time and can be a fast and painless way of setting shipping options on your products for use on Tradera.

The following columns can be used to set shipping options for Tradera with an import:

Column names Description Fill cells with
Tradera shipping primary method Primary shipping method.

postnord, dhl, schenker, bussgods or other.
Tradera shipping secondary method Secondary shipping method.

postnord, dhl, schenker, bussgods or other.
Tradera shipping primary cost Primary shipping cost. Any sum in SEK (0 = free).
Tradera shipping secondary cost Secondary shipping cost. Any sum in SEK (0 = free).
Tradera shipping pickup Offer pickup yes or no.

1 for yes or 0 for no.

For you to be able to set shipping for Tradera using Excel, you'll need to include a column for either Id or Sku (Product identifiers), shipping cost, and a shipping method with the latter being required if you want to set a shipping cost. When your file is ready, you can import it in Sello.

Here's how:

  1. Log into Sello.
  2. In the top-left menu, find "Import / export".
  3. Find "Excel" in the Import -section.
  4. Click: "Import".
  5. Choose: "Update products with my file".
  6. Select your file.
  7. Click: "Start".

Your file will now be queued for processing, you can see your estimated wait time to the right.

If you want to create products using this information, all you need to do is select "Create new products from my file" instead.

Good to know:

  • If you are using our Excel export feature to export your products, your file will have column names that will need to be tweaked in order to fit our standard before you can import it. Read more about the Excel export feature, here.
