Connecting to vidaXL – Sello

In this guide, we will show you how to connect your Sello account to vidaXL.

This is also how you would activate a temporary connection to vidaXL created in the Sello account registration process, the only difference is instead of clicking "Connect Now!", you click: "Settings" and then enable the connection using the toggle in the top right corner.

vidaXL has a large number of local marketplaces around the world, and as an approved merchant you'll gain access to all of them, all you need to do is to create a merchant account and get approved as a seller.

To do that you need to apply, this can be done here.

When you have been approved as a seller. and your account is taken care of, it's time to connect the account to Sello. In order to do this, you'll need both an API key and a shop ID.

Here's how to generate an API key:

Log into vidaXL: https://vidaxl-prod.mirakl.net/login
Go to: “My User Settings”.
Click: “API Key”.
Click: “Generate a new key”.
Click: "Copy to clipboard".

Here's how to find your shop ID:

Log into vidaXL: https://vidaxl-prod.mirakl.net/login
Go to: "My Account" -> "Settings".
Copy the number next to: "ID".

Each vidaXL country has its own shop ID, so if you want to connect to another country, you will need to find its unique ID. The API key will be the same for all countries, however.

The unique ID is found by switching countries in the top-right corner and repeating the steps above.

After finding your API key and shop ID, you need to establish the connection in Sello.

Here's how:

Log into Sello.
Go to: "Settings" -> "Channels" and find "vidaXL".
Click: "Connect Now!" and choose your desired country.
Enter your "API token" and "Shop ID".
Click: "Create connection".

Done!

Good to know:

You are going to have to repeat this for all the countries you want to connect to.
